The FIAS has received a tragic new.
The legendary athlete Vitaly Kuznetsov, a multiple time Soviet and World Champion in sambo, Munich Olympic Games Vice-Champion in judo, an absolute USSR Champion, 1971 European Champion, 1971 and 1979 World Championship silver medalist has passed away.
The renown superheavyweight celebrated his 70th birthday in February of this year.
The FIAS express the most sincere condolescences to Vitaly Yakovlevich’s family and friends.
