Sambo has been developing in Belgium for 8 years. Christian D’Heygere heads the association. Today there are 12 functioning clubs in the country. Sambo athletes take part in the international tournaments, the World and European Championships. Claude Bolle is a technical director, who is responsible for the preparation of national team to take part in the competitions.
